I hope you had a great week and an even better weekend. Today we begin anew :-)
I apologize for my abrupt, deafening silence on Twitter for the past few days. Without going into too much detail, I received some less than great news on Monday about something in my personal life. People talk a lot about persistence and hard work, but there is not enough discussion around how to cope with personal failures. I am dealing with it the best way I know how: being thankful, taking advantage of the many opportunities that I have already, and continuously working on being the best person I can be.
I didn’t do much this weekend besides spend time with friends who wanted to cheer me up. So instead of recapping, I want to take a moment to say THANK YOU so much to all the people who sent me gifts last week, and to the clients who spent time with me (except the one asshole). It was almost as if everyone knew I saw going through a hard time.
It’s Monday again and this week is already going to be so much better. I can tell by today’s weather in D.C.!
